Congratulations to Bo-Yan Chung for her Outstanding STEM Work Placement Award

30 Aug 2018

SATRO summer research student Bo-Yan Chung from Riddlesdown Collegiate won the Award for her exceptional work on developing electronic circuits made with everyday materials such as egg white and pencil lead during the summer of 2018.

Dr Brice Le Borgne, who oversaw the placement, described the results as “very encouraging for the industrialization of low-cost biosourced electronics.”

Our team has proudly hosted over 20 such placements through schemes run by SATRO and Nuffield, as part of our commitment to inspiring the next generation of scientist, engineers and inventors. We wish Bo-Yan every success.
